Hand-Embroidered Standing Elephant by Ni Ni Aung
Hand-Embroidered Standing Elephant by Ni Ni Aung
Elephants are associated with luck, success, and wisdom as well as power. Because elephants are highly social animals, they are also considered to be a symbol of loyalty, companionship, and unity. We love all of these associations!
Each of our hand-embroidered products is one of a kind—as individual as the woman who made it! Every item is lovingly crafted in our studio or in the home of a resettled refugee woman from Buffalo, NY. Stitch Buffalo products are made using upcycled materials, donated by the community and provided to our artists at no charge.
