Beaded Earrings by Arizo Ghairat
Beaded Earrings by Arizo Ghairat
Beadwork is used extensively in the traditional dress and jewelry of Afghanistan, and resettled refugee Arizo Ghairat brings her skills in this delicate work to Stitch Buffalo. We’re proud to help her continue her cultural knowledge and traditions in her new home.
Each of our hand-embroidered products is one of a kind—as individual as the woman who made it! Each is lovingly crafted in our studio or in the home of a resettled refugee woman from Buffalo, NY. All Stitch Buffalo products are made using upcycled materials, donated by the community and provided to our artists at no charge.
