ABOUT THE ARTIST
Viviana Jacqueline Canepa is a weaver from Argentina, who does business under the name Jaky Telar ("telar" is the Spanish word for "loom"). Jaky's mother, sister, and nephew are all Americans, living in Buffalo. Because her mother's health prohibits travel, Jaky reached out to Stitch Buffalo—hoping we could support her effort to raise funds for a visit to Buffalo. She is planning to make a 3-week trip in early 2025 and will also lead weaving classes at Stitch Buffalo during her visit! Your purchase supports that visit.
