Viviana Jacqueline Canepa is a weaver from Argentina, who does business under the name Jaky Telar ("telar" is the Spanish word for "loom"). Jaky's mother, sister, and nephew are all Americans, living in Buffalo.
Due to health issues, Jaky's mother is no longer able to travel home to South America. Jaky reached out to Stitch Buffalo, hoping we could support her effort to raise funds so that she can come visit Buffalo instead. She is planning to make a 3-week trip in early 2025—during which time, she will also lead weaving classes at Stitch Buffalo!
