Learn how to sew double-sided cloth napkins with perfect mitered corners! Sewing your own napkins is fun & easy when you learn a few tricks. Make a few sets to adorn your dinner table. They also make wonderful housewarming presents. The beauty of this technique is that the fabric from the back comes to the front and the mitered corners magically appear when you turn the napkins right side out!

SKILLS LEARNED
This class will be taught by Munawara Sultana, a member of the Refugee Women’s Workshop and the Stitch Buffalo Board of Directors.

SKILLS LEARNED
• Choose fabric patterns and colors to design your napkins
• Basic cutting techniques and sewing machine operation
• Sewing mitered corners

SUSTAINABILITY
• Reduce paper waste in your kitchen and dining room
• Work with fabrics rescued for reuse by our Second Stitch program
• Create double sided napkins that are a little heavier and can wear through more washings
