Print and Paint with Ferrous Sulfate (Iron)—June 1, 2024
Print and Paint with Ferrous Sulfate (Iron)—June 1, 2024
Learn to print and paint with ferrous sulfate (iron) solution onto cotton textiles that have been prepared in different tannin baths (gallant, myrobalan, and cutch). This is a magical process that invites experimentation with mark making on fabric.
Each student will make three cotton kitchen towels. All supplies are included. No experience is needed. —OR— If you are also registered for our June 8 hand-sewn shirt class, you may print your fabric for that project. There is a discounted rate when you register at the same time for both classes!
