$95.00

Learn to choose the right fabric and sew a simple knitwear shell using a commercial sewing pattern (Simplicity 9716 and 9717)! You will learn how to evaluate the sewability of different fabrics and how to choose the right fabric for our sewing pattern, Simplicity 9716 and 9717.

We will evaluate the amount of fabric needed, and how to choose your size based on information provided on the pattern. You’ll learn the secrets of pattern size selection within commercial patterns—which can be tricky!

You will learn to read pattern “hieroglyphics” and work through garment construction step by step. We will guide you through every step of this process.  In the end you’ll have great skills and a great garment.
