Introduction to Gel Plate Printing—Michelle Staff Rate
Learn the basics of printing with a gel plate. Experimenting with layering textures, shapes and color each student will leave with a stack of beautiful, one of a kind, 5x5-inch prints. These can be used for collage, paper jewelry, card making, and other art.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
No previous experience is required.
INSTRUCTOR:
Betsy Veness has worked in toy design, graphic design, fine art, and jewelry. Locally, her gel printed work is being sold at The Burchfield Penney Gift Shop and The Roycroft Copper Shop.
SUSTAINABILITY:
Stitch Buffalo is committed to fostering sustainability practices and reducing waste in the textile industry. In this workshop, we will strive to minimize waste and work as much as possible with supplies that have been rescued for reuse.
