D'Youville and Summer Camp Alumni Work Day with Amanda Browder—November 26, 2024 (2pm–6pm)

$0.00

In 2016, textile artist Browder’s Spectral Locus project took Buffalo by storm, wrapping three local buildings in vibrant swaths of fabric. At locations around the city, over 700 volunteers helped sew this massive installation using donated fabric!

And now she’s back! In partnership with Buffalo AKG Art Museum, Amanda Browder will be returning to Buffalo this month for another big textile project—and YOU CAN GET IN ON IT!

Working directly with Amanda, volunteers will be cutting, pinning, and sewing donated fabric to help create a new work of art. This month-long project promises to be another exciting chapter in Buffalo’s creative history. Don’t miss your chance to be part of it!

Registration is required. It is FREE. You will need to provide your contact information when checking out, but no credit card info will be collected. Amanda needs LOTS of help on this project. Please consider your registration a commitment to attend.

SKILLS REQUIRED
No special skills are required, but sewing machine experience is helpful.
