Beaded jewelry, especially in bright colors, has deep roots in Ecuador. In this workshop, bead artist Mara Gamboa will walk you through this delicate process to create a pair of colorful beaded earrings.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Mara Gamboa is a jewelry artist and member of the Refugee Women’s Workshop at Stitch Buffalo. She came to Buffalo from Ecuador and is working to preserve her cultural knowledge and traditions in her new home.
