Are you ready to take your sewing to the next level? Shantell Reid will walk you through the ins-and-outs of working with different types of fabrics, including sewing machine setup, fabric handling, and more. This is the perfect class for anyone who has held back on working with knits, heavy fabrics, slippery silks, challenging prints/patterns—or any other tricky materials.

Shantell Reid (PhD) is a faculty member in the Textile Arts and Technology Department at Buffalo State College.

Stitch Buffalo is committed to fostering sustainability practices and reducing waste in the textile industry. In this workshop, we will strive to minimize waste and work as much as possible with supplies that have been rescued for reuse.
