Learn how to redesign a basic trucker cap with fabric scraps or quilt pieces! This transformational process is perfect for covering logos or stains/damage and can be done on hats for men, women, or children. You could even create a collection of matching hats for your team, club, or family reunion.
For this class, we will be using “misprint” hats donated by New Era Cap. One cap per student is included with the registration fee. Working from a prepared pattern, the instructor will guide you through the design and construction process to create your first cap.
Additionally, you will learn how to adjust this pattern (or create a new one) to cover other cap designs—so you can up-cycle any cap you like! Students are welcome to bring a cap to get help with starting their next project.
