Using materials from our Second Stitch stash, you’ll go home with a colorful piece and feel inspired to incorporate upcycling into your creative life. Price includes $30 instruction fee plus $5 for your choice of one MDF letter form (12-13 inches) in a serif or sans serif font.

This class is appropriate for ages 12 and up; children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
SKILLS NEEDED:
There are no special skills required for this class but participants should feel comfortable using a hot glue gun and scissors.
INSTRUCTOR:
Whitney Crispell is a textile artist and owner of Local Color, a quilting studio founded in 2017. She is a staff member at Stitch Buffalo (Second Stitch Manager) and has a background in program management, government relations, and community organizing. She loves making secondhand textile and fiber arts supplies affordable and accessible to the larger community.
SUSTAINABILITY:
Stitch Buffalo is committed to fostering sustainability practices and reducing waste in the textile industry. In this workshop, we will work as much as possible with supplies that have been rescued for reuse.
