Embroidery 101: Basic Techniques and Stitches—May 11 (10:00am–1:00pm)

Begin your embroidery practice with an overview of the materials, setup, and basic stitches that are integral to almost every project you will undertake. Your instructor will guide you step by step through the creation of a colorful sampler—designed with space for you to finish at home while reinforcing the skills you learned in class.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
No previous experience is required.

INSTRUCTOR:
This workshop will be led by Michelle Perkins, a Stitch Buffalo staff member and lifelong textile artist. If available, an artist from the Refugee Women’s Workshop will provide classroom support.
