Western New Yorkers opened their hearts and donated many sewing machines to support our classes for newly settled Afghan (and other) refugee women. Our team of volunteers has been testing, cleaning, and troubleshooting them—and many are already with their new families!

However, some machines (for a variety of reasons) were determined not to be ideal choices for this purpose. They are still GREAT machines, but better suited for different project types, more experienced users, etc.

We don’t want such gems going to waste, though, so we’re making them available to be sold into new homes. The proceeds will help to support the programs at Stitch Buffalo, including the purchase of other much-needed supplies for the Afghan women who are learning to sew for their families.
