2024 Textile Art Summer Camp
Scholarship Application

Stitch Buffalo anticipates having several full scholarship seats available for our 2024 Youth Summer Camp. If your child loves to create, is eager to learn, and would be unable to attend without this scholarship, please apply! In addition to the scholarship, lunch & snacks will be provided. Local travel expenses may also be compensated.
Priority will be given to students living in zip codes identified by United Way of Buffalo and Erie County as having a high-need areas: 14201, 14202, 14203, 14204, 14206, 14207, 14208, 14209, 14210, 14211, 14212, 14213, 14215, 14216, 14218, and 14220.
Dates and Times:
Each session runs five days (Monday–Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm). Students should commit to attend five days in their session, as the materials presented are sequential.
Session 1: July 8–12
Session 2: July 15–19
Session 3: July 22–26
Location:
All classes will be held at the Stitch Buffalo store/studio, located at 284 Plymouth Avenue, Buffalo, NY (near D’Youville University).
About:
Kids ages 8–14 are invited to explore their creativity at Stitch Buffalo during summer sessions introducing a wide variety of textile arts, materials, and processes. Working in our diverse and inclusive studio over the course of a five-day session, students will learn the fundamentals of sewing, dyeing, weaving, printing, embroidery, and more—plus develop their design and collaborative skills in a relaxed, encouraging environment.
