Sew Your Own Zipper Bags with Judith Hlei—6-3-23
$50.00

Learn to use pre-quilted fabric, install a zipper, and create your own padded zipper bag. This is a great beginner project! We’ll have many patterns of fabric to work with, and you can make your bag any shape/size you want. You can even add a strap to create a wristlet!

SKILLS REQUIRED:
Beginners are welcome. You can use one of our sewing machines or bring your own (please make sure it has a zipper foot). All other supplies are provided.

INSTRUCTOR:
Judith Hlei came to Buffalo from Myanmar—and she can do it all! In addition to top-notch hand-embroidery skills, she is a machine sewist who creates many of our bags and pouches. Judith has excellent English language skills and enjoys sharing her expertise with others.
